Developmentally appropriate child-centered activities focus on skills and practices that enable lifelong learning and independent problem-solving. We implement a wide variety of educational programs, learning experiences, instructional approaches, and academic-support strategies that are intended to address the needs, interests, aspirations, or cultural backgrounds of every student.
Children three to four are beginning to engage in more cooperative play with their growing vocabularies. Play becomes more complex, and children begin extending their learning through dramatic scenarios (role-playing). Children are introduced to letters, numbers, and STEAM activities that will teach critical thinking and creative thinking and hone fine motor skills to prepare for writing.
